Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish
Established at the turn of the century, Sacred Heart parish was built by Polish immigrants who chose the west side of Grand Rapids to be near the gypsum mines they worked in everyday. Now home to West Michigan’s only classical education academy and the area’s only Sunday Latin Mass, Sacred Heart is a thriving, growing parish that reflects the passion, creativity and energy emerging in throughout the West Side of Grand Rapids.
